Super busy with the campcraft training... finally the weekends!
2 days ago, we FINALLY have our promotion parade. HURRAY! I got my corporal rank and 2nd class drill badge! WHOO! Yet our other badges have not been given to us even after so long... great... just plain great...
To rub it in, I caught a cold right after the promtion parade... HOW PATHETIC IS THAT?!

Yay! I'm back from Yunnan! The place is colder than Shanghai! Never mind that... Time to talk about my experience.
MONDAY(12/11)
Tonight reached the airport at 23:25. So tired... Why does the flight have to be so early the next morning? Take very long just to check in... By the time we reached the waiting hall, we felt like zombies...
TUESDAY(13/11)
Reached Kunming at 6 plus. Ate breakfast at a nearby restaurant. Then took another flight to Lijiang. There we took a bus to the hotel. After resting for 2hours, we went to the primary school for CIP. There we took over a primary 5 class. Unlike us, they are very rowdy. As my chinese standard is very bad, they don't understand a single word I say... err... I had to get my roommate to be my translator. Hahaha......
WEDNESDAY(14/11)
Second day of CIP. Today Sec 2s are in charge of the mural painting(for the library). But as the walls are rough, we have to cement the walls. But sadly, when the teachers are not around, the guys ran away... Very pathetic, huh?
After lunch, we continued our shift. As I am in charge of the painting design, I had to sketch out the design on the wall. But sadly(again), I'm still being ordered around...
THURSDAY (15/11)
Today finish up the mural painting. Silly thing is only now than I realised that Miss Lee's (the art teacher that came along with us) mural was WAY bigger than mine. In the afternoon, the Sec 2s teach the primary 5 class art and craft lesson. The "main attraction"
was the balloon sculpture lesson. I was not assigned to a group, so the only think I did was help make balloon dogs for those children that didn't dare to even touch the balloon.
Then we perform for the children after lessons. We sang "Home" and danced "Reached up for the skies"(which ironically was the same one compared to the Shanghai trip).
Continuing on, we later went to the childrens' house. And we got free apples!(LOL)
FRIDAY (16/11)
Climbed the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It's SO COLD!!! Up there have Tibetian monastry. Donated give a Hatta.(white funny-looking scarf)And to make it worse, it was cloudy that day, so we could not see the mountain! Nothing else to talk about...
Then went to the Baihe River. They said that washing your hands with the river water will give you good luck. MY HEAD! The river water was so cold it froze my hands, and the mud surrounding the river dirtied my shoes! Good luck, huh?
Visited Baisha Old Town in the evening. Bought a necklace there. Other than that, nothing.
SATURDAY (17/11)
Went to see the majestic Tiger Leaping Gourge. AHH... who am I kidding? The scenery is spoilt due to the active souviners' sellers. We cannot even have a single quiet spot...
Nothing much after that. We checked in at the hotel in Shangirila and got free time to relax before dinner.
Oh yes, we also went to the Tibatian culture house for a performance. I hate that part... Let me explain. They gave us a tinny weeny cup of alcohol to drink. And due to that I got drunk... And believe me, you DON'T WANNA GET DRUNK!
SUNDAY (18/11)
very boring... don't want to talk 'bout it...
MONDAY (19/11)
Delayed flight... Bus broke down... Traffic jams... More cars and buses... Another delayed flight... needless to say that the last day was TOTALLY BORING!!!

Yesterday was my cousins' birthday. As usual, it is VERY BORING... And I had to be the balloon artist. However, it was short-lived. Somemore the quality of the balloons was very lousy, so the balloon kept bursting. In the end, I just played my cards with my cousin and his friends, which ironically was just as tiring as sculpturing balloons...
Anyway, I will leave for Yunnan in 2 days time so this blog will be quite dead during that period of time. Blog again when I get back!

Yesterday I started my sec 3 tuition classes.
First it was physics class. The lesson was about unit conversion which is simple maths problems. But ironically, since I did not have my calculator and the numbers were big with decimal places, it was just as hard as a new topic! So as a reminder to all those taking physics, BRING A RELIABLE CALCULATOR!!!!!
Second was my English class. As usual they have comprehension. The weird part was there were only 5 questions. As I attempted the questions, I realised why. I could not do a single question! And yet for a 4 marks question was one short sentence...
I really have to catch up to prepare for sec 3.

Today very tired... Don't feel like watching TV, don't feel like reading, don't feel like going out for exercise. Just want to sleep... 'Cause I now still suffering from sleep debt... Yesterday also have full-day course... So sleepy until take forever to type this paragragh... *YAWN*... ... Bye for now...(until I wake up)...

Monday
I went to school to return my travel plan form to Mrs Tay. Then went back to school again in the afternoon for reflection of NPCC Annual camp. The second time I got to school, the Sec 3 postings were out! And I got into triple science! Hurray!
Tuesday
Today clean hamsters' cages 'cause today is the only "free" day I have. The hamster bit me.*sobs*
Wednesday
My Aunt introduced me to a Japanese Drama series. Its quite funny and spent 3 hrs watching it 'cause I cannot sit still for more than that.
Thursday
Today got SANA badge course. We got to group up with the other NPCC members from Area 18 schools. Also had a CNB officer to come lecture us about the different drugs that are abused. Then got test which luckily I passed. If I didn't I have to retake again... So what's left is survey.
