I was supposed to go to the polyclinic, but the waiting list was until October... Considering all this, I had initially wanted to just pluck the tooth out of my mouth, but then the dentist asked me go home to discuss with my parents. However, they said that I should try to save my tooth anyway since I'm still 16... BTW remedial classes PLUS contigent training start tommorrow... And hell starts from there... 'till next time!This is the worst holiday of my entire life...
SO... Today I went to visit the private dentist as my right molar kept hurt me. At first I just thought that the filling had fell out, however to my utmost horror the dentist told me that my molar had decayed to the point of NO TOMMORROW - the decay had hit my nerve endings.
There were only two things that can be done:
1) The "get-the-bloody-thing-over-and-done-with" method
-Extract the tooth and hope I grow a wisdom tooth to replace the infected one. (50% of the people grow wisdom teeth)
Cost: S$30
Effect: Intense pain for two to three days under medication.
2) The "save-that-damn-tooth-at-ALL-COSTS" method
-Go for Root Canal treatment. (Remove nerves from decaying tooth and 'preserve' it)
Cost: S$1000 plus; Not to mention regular maintainance every 6 months
Effect: Spend my entire holiday going to and fro from the private clinic and every 6 months maintaining the dead tooth.
OR
Spend 3 months plus waiting for a dental appointment under MOH on the long agonising waiting list in the midst of studying for 'O' levels and every 6 months maintaining the dead tooth.
But, as stubborn as my parents are, once they are decided I can never change their minds...
Anyway, as Eng Hoong had requested (I wasn't intending to put it up so soon but...), this is the picture of Kuran(Cross) Yuuki from Vampire Knight that I had drawn quite recently...
