The whole of today, I could not talk...
Only method of communication: Paper, pen and many weird sign languages...
It was extremely hard to teach the sec 1s without talking. Well, at least today was only campcraft...
If in the case scenario of needing me to teach drills, it would be like this:
Writes command on A3 size paper and flash it to the squad;
Another command saying to redo command if it is wrong...
...
Probably need 20 over pages of that... plus a lot of arm strength...
And since I was not able to talk, I think I might have deepen the impression of me being "emo" on the sec 1s... If I were to become CI next year, I might just be labelled as "Emo CI"!
After training, I treated Juliyana to Bubble tea in celebration of getting SSG rank plus thanks for helping me on last Friday night.
Went home and ate "baby food" for lunch... (mashed potatoes and vegetables mixed with porridge)
At night had weird conversation with parents...
Conversation 1:
Dad: Munteng, I talked to your tuition physics teacher...
Me: ...yeah...(muffled due to condition)
Dad: He said you have a short attention span in the afternoon...
Me: ...
Dad: And that you sometimes tend to sleep in class...
Me: ...
Dad: You should sleep more.
Me: Huh?
(At that point of time, he obviously meant that I should sleep earlier on Friday night)
Conversation 2:
Dad: Do you sleep in class often?
Me: Only when I am extremely tired...
Dad: When is that?
Me: ... {HOW WOULD I KNOW???}
Conversation 3:
Mum: Is it because that you have a heavy lunch?
Me: Now that you mention it, I do tend to fall asleep if I have a heavy lunch; it sometimes happens to me in school...
Dad: Then why didn't you tell us?
Me: I didn't think of it as much of a problem...
Dad & Mum: HOW CAN IT NOT BE A PROBLEM?!
Conversation 4:
Mum: You know, when I was in school, I never fall asleep...
Me: ...
Mum: The subjects were too interesting...
Bro: Either that, or the teacher was handsome~!
Dad: Maybe Munteng's teacher is not handsome enough...
Mum: I'M TRYING TO TEACH HERE! AT LEAST BE A BIT SUPPORTIVE!!!
Me: ... {Could have guessed just as much...; My mum likes handsome boys after all...}
So for tommorrow, I will have to try to stop my habit of falling asleep...
