Hey Yuki-san?
What is it, Mu-tan?
I was wondering why there are two chapters on the same week~
Oh. Friday was a special chapter for the New Year, so it doesn’t really count.
Then what about Christmas? Why didn’t we have one then~?
Oh… I forgot about that…
You forgot…
…
Ooookay then~ Let’s just forget about that~ So what are we doing this time?
Murder story…
And we’re back to THAT again?!
That was 4 chapters ago… and besides, we have to introduce a manga this time, right?
But-
And we still haven’t received any request yet…
…
Unless you have something else…
Okay okay… Fine~ So what manga is it?
Introducing ‘Bloody Monday’…!
But seriously. Why aren't there any request~?

Bloody Monday (Manga; 11 volumes)
Genres: Mature (>14), Murder, Mystery, Sci-fic, Shounen
Bloody Monday is a mystery story situated in modern Japan. A Russian spy is found murdered, with the only clue to the reasons for his death being a memory chip. Things become further complicated when Takagi Fujimura's father, a high ranking official within Third-I PSST (based on the Public Security Intelligence Agency), is falsely accused of murdering his superior when he obtains further information about a viral outbreak in Russia where thousands are killed, known as the Christmas Massacre, and the code name "Bloody Monday". In order to clear his father’s name, the brilliant 16 year old Third-I PSST recruit genius hacker Fujimaru, known as the "Falcon" publicly, decoded the chip left behind by the spy, discovering a video file documenting the Christmas Massacre and learning about “Bloody Monday”.
The terrorist Orihara Maya, who was responsible for the incident in Russia, is now in Tokyo in order to recover the memory stick to stop Third-I from knowing the truth of a terrorist plot in Japan. She goes undercover as a teacher at Fujimaru's High School. From there it becomes difficult for Fujimaru to determine who he can trust as he uses his high-level hacking skills to try and save the country and unravel the mystery of Bloody Monday and the cult behind it.
Please be wary of the ‘Mature’ theme. It is categorized like this for a reason: The murder scenes are very disturbing that can make young kids have nightmares. And considering the detailed art of this manga, I hope I get my point across
And since this is a science-fiction story, you will expect lots (and I mean LOTS) of scientific term that will make your mind explode, despite its seemingly futile attempt to explain Fujimaru’s or the enemies’ course of action. I spent about 1/3 of my time re-reading the entire plot to grasp the situation.
Oh yeah, one more thing to add, since this is a shounen manga, please be prepared for impossibly big-busted ladies in inappropriate clothing, especially the terrorist Orihara Maya, since this is one of the many weird ways shounen manga catch their male audiences…
Nonetheless, it is an excellent thriller that will make mystery-lovers scream for joy, especially the complexity of the plot. Every point of the story is packed with excitement and things are always not as you anticipated.
Rating: 8/10 <<<<<<<< DD
In the nutshell: A highly recommended thriller that intertwines with the science-fiction theme excellently, although the science terms should be explained in more detail for the benefit of the readers. Young children and people who cannot stand gruesome murder scenes should stay clear. The artstyle is also highly commendable, despite its inappropriate use in certain cases…
